Awarded the Nos-2015 Prize

On Thursday, January 28, in the Stanislavsky Electrotheater in Moscow, the Laureates of the Literary Prize "Nos-2015" ("New Literature") were announced. The Grand Prix-700 thousand rubles and the statuette-symbol of the award-received Danila Zaitsev for the book "The Tale and Life of Danila Terentyevich Zaitsev."

The winner was determined according to the results of the debate, in which members of the jury, experts and visitors took part, the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation reports.

In the nomination "Prize of reader sympathies", following the results of the online voting, the Nos-2015 Award was awarded to Ekaterina Margolis for the book "Traces of the Water". She was awarded a figurine and a reward in the amount of 200 thousand rubles.

In addition to Danila Zaitsev, the Nos-2015 premium was included in the short list of :

• Guzel Yakhin - "Zuleikha opens his eyes"
• Alexander Ilyanen - "Pension"
• A. Nune - "Diary for Friends"
• Polina Barskova - "Living Pictures"
• Tatyana Bogatyreva - "Mariana Breeding"
• Maria Golovanivskaya - "Pangea"

All these authors received 40 thousand rubles each and finalists' diplomas.

The Nose Award is founded by the Charitable Fund of Mikhail Prokhorov to identify and support new trends in modern artistic literature in Russian. Prose -written texts written and published in Russian and/or magazine/newspaper formats, as well as in electronic media are accepted for the prize.
