“About 3 or 4 years ago there was a story in Volgograd. Local cancer patients were no longer given free painkillers. And local diabetics were no longer given the correct type of insulin. Their governor said that there was no money in the budget. Meanwhile, he found money to use the budget to bring his team to Italy on vacation.

Local doctors were outraged, and some of them tried to organize a rally to help patients and get money. The rally was supposed to be without any political background; neither Navalny nor Yashin knew about all this. We applied for the rally and, contrary to expectations, received permission.

So here it is. NOBODY CAME. Relatives and acquaintances of the patients corresponded on social networks, were indignant, but did not go.”
