Sentsov and Kolchenko were transferred from the pre-trial detention center

Oleg Sentsov and Alexander Kolchenko, convicted in the case of preparing terrorist attacks in Crimea, were transferred from the Rostov pre-trial detention center. This was reported by Mediazona with reference to Sentsov’s sister Natalya Kaplan.

According to Kaplan, Sentsov is being sent to the Irkutsk region, and Alexander Kolchenko to the Chelyabinsk region. The sister of the Ukrainian director noted that both convicts began to be transferred on February 4, but she only became aware of this today.

As Kolchenko’s lawyer Svetlana Sidorkina clarified for the publication, her client is currently being transferred to Voronezh, and Sentsov is in Samara.

On November 24, the Military Collegium of the Supreme Courtupheld the sentence imposed on Oleg Sentsov and Alexander Kolchenko, according to which they received 20 and 10 years in prison, respectively.
