Boris broke his leg and turned out to be homeless. "Such cases" continue the project "Rules of life of the homeless"
Help the hip helpI myself was born with Georgia, but the war began there in the 91st year. I went to my sister in Arkhangelsk, I stayed there for 10 years, then my sister left to Ryazan, well, I didn’t keep me in Arkhangelsk too, I also went there after some time. And then the sister died, her children privatized housing, and I was aimed for and began to rent an apartment.
I have housing in Georgia and now. Your house. There are refugees live now. From Abkhazia. But there is nothing to do in Georgia, it is simply impossible to survive there. The roof will be above your head, but what is there for six thousand wheelchairs? There is also a house to repair the house. And to sell - no one needs this house now. There is cheap housing.
Portrait of Boris near the shelter "Overnight" Photo: Ksenia Ivanova for TDI had a family, for a long time, until the 91st year, in Georgia. I was married to a Jew, they decided to go to Israel with the whole family. I also wanted to, but then changed my mind. Parents were against, I did not know the language. Then he gathered again, gathered, and never gathered, and then time passed, it did not need it, and so I stayed here. And his son came from there, returned to Ukraine, in the Red Ray he lives now, he is 37. He is 78th year. We communicate in VKontakte. We have not seen each other for a long time.
I hide what is happening to me. For what? I live, and liveI would not go to him. There is his own family, there is already a complicated environment. I somehow do not want to sit on the neck. In general, he remembers me as a very self-sufficient person, but here I somehow already ... I hide what is happening to me. For what? I live, and I live. Need to see, but what to go there, elementary? Yes, and I'm afraid to go there, there is Ukraine, and I am a citizen of Russia ... It will be more dead, maybe I will go.
I lived and rented an apartment in Ryazan. There I broke my leg, was treated for six months, I spent a lot of money for treatment, lost my performance.
I was then a helpless person, moved from one housing to another housing, cheaper. He crouched on a bench in the park, two picked up my handbag and once, once-around the corner of the house-and all, disappeared. And my leg is broken after the operation. I was helpless. And there, both money and documents, they took everything. I even washed down there from hopelessness, I had nowhere to spend the night. And he sat at the railway station. And now the train stood on Moscow, and I got there. In Moscow, he moved to Leningradskaya there. I got to the crossing. And he came to Petersburg to his relatives. That is, I thought that I came to them. It turned out that they were not here already, they left to live in Germany, in Cologne. Well, I had to call, of course, but I decided it spontaneously, in the mood.

They gave me a paper on which they wrote an address in St. Petersburg. The Botkin hospital was on a leaf. They are engaged in homeless people. And they gave me a direction here.
And in 2012, I first came to the "night". Two months later, they made me documents. I worked here, everything was fine, rented housing, here, and then my heart just had problems. From November to April last year, I spent all the time around hospitals, and then, finally, I went here and got here because there was nowhere to go. And here he began to arrange disability. I received a third group of disability in my heart, and now I am finishing the troubles associated with the device in the boarding school. At the last place, registration should be sent to me - this is in Ryazan or to the Ryazan region. I’ll go there. Well, that’s my whole story.
In disability, I was assigned a pension of 4,200. But they reached the living wage to six thousand.
Boris in his room of the shelter "Overnight". Photo: Ksenia Ivanova for TDIf I succeed in a boarding school now, it would be normal, because there, I found out, the content of a person costs about 12 thousand, that is, much more than I will receive pensions. And besides, no problems. And there is medical help, and that’s it.
There are eight people in the room. I live calmly. And there it will be better even-two or three people.
I built ships on the Black Sea, and built ships on the White Sea, and worked in the Far East too. And due to the fact that I lost the documents, I cannot restore the work experience.
And most importantly - why did I keep money and documents in my bag? There are a lot of such stories in the “night”, there are many such destinies.
If you work, you can live. For six thousand a hostel to shoot. But I can't work now.
The day before Boris's departure, pain in his chest began, and for half a day he lay in bed photos: Ksenia Ivanova for TDWhen you start working, money already appears, it becomes more specifically how to live. He worked as a locksmith, a plumber, it was already difficult in the specialty - both at the age already, and there is no permanent residence permit. In a good place, I worked recently - the parking player was in the LTD on a large stable, there was a good salary - 26 thousand, and another tips. Sometimes they unfastened up to a thousand rubles. And everything was fine there, and I worked well, two days in two - very convenient, shape, ties. Gently, cleanly, decent. And suddenly the heart failed. Heart failure. There would be no problems, I would never. And when helpless, what to do? Now it got better, I even started to run. The run helped a lot. Already here, I ran in the morning. Quietly, two hours. And now in the cold it is already uncomfortable.
I love to read basically. I find something and read something on the Internet. Articles and art ... I love quotes, aphorisms, philosophy, history.
Boris has been traveling by bus to the station: “I have lived in St. Petersburg for so many years, I know so much in this city. I hope I can still visit Peter, from Ryazan, after all, 10 hours drive, right? " Photo: Ksenia Ivanova for TDI myself do not know who I wanted to become. When I graduated from school, we had this: at least to do somewhere. I was engaged in athletics, so it was easy for me. Then much attention was paid to sports. A person came to our section, it was necessary to choose an institute and pass exams - if only not for a deuce. And you, count, are already at the institute. I studied at the Polytechnic until the third year in Abkhazia, and then transferred here to the shipbuilding.
In the Soviet Union, it was impossible to think that it was impossible to find housing affordable. There were dormitories, something else. And then they did not have the right not to take a person to work. And if they arranged somewhere, then there was certainly some kind of housing. Then, of course, there was a big social security. What now was impossible to imagine in a socialist state. So that several thousand people freeze every winter.
I scored cardboard boxes somewhere. They laid them, and covered them with them. No one to go toOn the street in Ryazan lived 20 days. And cold and scary. I scored cardboard boxes somewhere. They laid them, and covered them with them. There was no one to go to.
I am surprised that the state has absolutely no programs for the homeless. They would build some refugees, as birds make birds. So that a person could at least shave, swim. A lot of people who are without housing at all. They take off, grind from the apartment to the apartment, somehow earn, interrupt. We have military operations in Syria, which we do not need absolutely, there are money for it, for some personal interests. And how many nights could be built with this money? It's all sad, of course.
Boris came to the bank to receive his pension - six thousand rubles. Read also
Homeless people live in a ravine in the Moscow Park for twenty years: former soldiers, an Air Force, a tractor driver, a gynecologist, a mathematician, a photographer and other colorful personalities. Sergei Trapezin spent six months with them and kept a diary all this timeOf course, here people are basically not self -sufficient. Or they have addictions to something, or some kind of weakness. And I also belong to the same with my helplessness with current health. You look - there are a lot of people who are not able to survive in this world.
Maybe I have close people, if you look. But I traveled all over Russia! I came to relatives - they are not. He began to look for his fellow students, they did not give me addresses in the police. I had a friend in my youth - I did not find him. Of course, I would go to Arkhangelsk (I lived there for 10 years), I have a friend there. But what is he? You can live three days, even a week. And then inconvenient. How much will you be? Each has a family. I have my moral guidelines, I can't do that. Yes, now all their worries have enough.
To date, the Own Fund managed to collect the amount missing for the implementation of the project. Therefore, at the request of the fund, we closed this fee and began the collection for the new project of the Night Directorate “Rehabilitation of the Homeless” .
