Terrorists detained in Yekaterinburg planned an attack on the subway and shopping centers

The terrorists, whose detention became known on the eve of February 8, prepared attacks on the metro and the shopping center in Yekaterinburg. This was told by the newspaper "Kommersant" a source in law enforcement agencies of the Sverdlovsk region. He did not disclose other details.

According to the local news agency URA.RU , a terrorist attack could be prepared at the Carnival shopping center, which is located near the place of detention of militants. According to the publication, the militants took the detailed plan of the Carnival. At the same time, the subway plans, where terrorist attacks were previously expected, was not found.

“These are all just assumptions. There are no reliable information about this from law enforcement agencies. Any city shopping center can be prone to danger,” Natalya Popkova, the official representative of the Carnival, emphasized.

According to URA.RU, the militants were recruited by the Jabhat al-Nusra group banned in the Russian Federation. According to official information, a member of the prohibited "Islamic state", who arrived from the territory of Turkey, led a group of terrorists. The detainees themselves, the URA.RU pointed out, turned out to be ordinary citizens - one of them worked as a driver in the Taxi service, the other - the forwarder in Coca -Cola, the third was a petty entrepreneur.

According to Kommersant, among the suspects there are two natives of Kyrgyzstan - Ravshan Karimov and Azamat Dzhumaev. The Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Yekaterinburg confirmed information about the detention of natives of this country, but emphasized that they are not citizens of the republic.

Species for detention in Yekaterinburg were carried out by employees of the Central apparatus of the FSB of the Russian Federation together with their Ural colleagues.
