Novosibirsk deputies discussed the simplification of the exchange of directions in kindergarten

At a meeting of the Commission of the Council of Deputies of Novosibirsk on Social Policy and Education, they heard information about the student’s “Student Map” plastic card and discussed the appeal of the deputy Anton Tyrtyshny about the creation of a working group to create a service on the city hall, which facilitates the exchange of places in kindergartens.

According to information provided by the Novosibirsk Mayor, 15,756,090 trips “Student’s card” with the Economy Tariff (50% discount from the installed cash tariff with an unlimited number of trips) were registered in 2015. According to the “student card” with the “Unlimited” tariff - 3,987,363 trips (850 rubles and an unlimited number of trips within a month). The expenditure of the city budget for reimbursing of the undertaken income of carriers of all forms of ownership in 2015 on these types of cards amounted to 185.8 million rubles.

At the meeting of the commission, a proposal of passenger transportation of the city hall of the city of Novosibirsk in the context of a difficult economic situation was made to consider the possibility of limiting the number of trips to the “student map” with the Economy Tariff up to 30 per month, and in the extracurricular period - July and August - cancel the effect of preferential travel for students.

The chairman of the Standing Commission of the Council of Deputies of the city of Novosibirsk Nikolai Tyamin noted the need for a detailed study of the issue before the decision: “The solution to this socially significant issue should be approached responsibly. We are talking about optimizing the expenses of the city budget in all directions. The question of canceling benefits for the duration of the holidays will be considered in a working order. It is important for all responsible persons to comprehensively work out this issue. ”
