On February 11, activists of the People's Liberation Movement attacked the chairman of the PARNAS party Mikhail Kasyanov in Vladimir before meeting with journalists and threw eggs at him. According to a TASS correspondent from the scene, the activists threw eggs at the politician's back when he got out of the car.
On the evening of February 9, in a restaurant in Moscow, a group of people threw a cake at Kasyanov and disappeared. The politician wrote a statement to the police. The attacks came after Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov posted on his Instagram account a short video of Kasyanov and his deputy Vladimir Kara-Murza through a telescopic sight. The leadership of PARNAS stated that it regards the publication as incitement to murder.
