Four residents of Crimea were accused of terrorism and arrested until the beginning of April

Four residents of Crimea, detained on February 11, were arrested by the decision of the Kievsky District Court of Simferopol until April 8. All four are charged with participation in the activities of a terrorist organization, reports the publication "Crimean News in 15 minutes." Earlier, the Crimean prosecutor's office reported that a case had been opened under the relevant article in connection with the activities of cells of the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization in Crimea.

Human rights activist Emir-Usein Kuku (earlier it was reported that he was charged with inciting ethnic hatred, but this was not confirmed), Enver Bekirov from the village of Krasnokamenka near Yalta, Vadim Siruk from Yalta and Muslim Aliyev from Verkhnyaya Kutuzovka were arrested.

Earlier, a case had already been opened on the territory of Crimea on participation in the activities of Hizb ut-Tahrir. Four people are also in custody: Ruslan Zeytullayev, Nuri Primov, Rustem Vaitov and Ferat Sayfullaev.

Hizb ut-Tahrir is recognized as a terrorist organization in the Russian Federation. Cases of terrorism have been opened in different regions of the country, while members of the cells of the organization are accused and sentenced to various terms in a strict regime colony only on the basis that they met in apartments, read religious literature and recruited new members.
