If tomorrow is war

The enemy is destroyed-so far-conditional. These are only exercises, “sudden inspections of combat readiness” of the southern and central military districts. Plots about the training valor of the Russian military are more important than news from a peaceful, uninteresting life. However, the Moscow trade pavilions lying in the ruins also think about the possible consequences of bombing.

By the way, “sudden inspections of combat readiness” is also a way to circumvent the agreement with NATO, according to which Russia and the Alliance are obliged to inform each other about large -scale exercises. And these innocent tricks are very nervous (p. 26) officials.

The number of propaganda plots that work out the standard scheme-Russia in the ring of enemies, Europe is about to collapse, our sovereignty is also at risk-it seems that it begins to go into quality. The standard scheme, invented to justify the foreign policy escapad, becomes a reality in the heads of politicians and the military. And the transition from reality in the heads to reality as such is not a very difficult matter. In matters of war and the world, consciousness is primary. Especially if the habit of hitting the first is rooted in the mind.

Close to the Kremlin and, as is commonly believed, a very informed expert Sergei Karaganov is able to justify this very scheme without Kiselev’s emotions - calmly and consistently, recognizing even some mistakes of foreign policy. But from his constructions, all the same conclusion follows - the world on the verge of war (p. 20). If today it is ready to win - they advise both an inflated TV presenter and a calm analyst.

Where to wait for the fire? For example, on the Syrian-Turkish border, where Russia rising from the knees, which decided to teach the whole world how to fight the right terrorists, ran into its own reflection-Turkey, a country with an authoritarian leader, headed of the revival of the greatness of the Ottomans empire. There, an “unexpected war” - as a result of aggressive rhetoric, unwillingness to take into account and study each other's interests - is ready to flare up at any time, breaking a thin line between reality in the heads of lovers of “sudden inspections of combat readiness” and reality as such (p. 30).

And then it really remains only to prepare for victory. Although even in the Soviet school, which all the current owners of Russia took place, they taught: there will be no winners in the new big war.
