On February 21, the Jewish Museum and the Center for Tolerance in Moscow will meet-response of the picture of Casimir Malevich “Black Square”.
The radio host Maria Armas, Doctor of Art, Professor Viktor Arslanov and artist Dmitry Gutov will discuss how to interpret the meaning of the “black square” encrypted by the author, and will follow the influence of this iconic creation on the art of the recent past and modernity.

The meeting dedicated to the “Black Square” is included in the program of the cycle of public discussions “About images” , which is held by the Jewish Museum in partnership with the “encyclopedia of the Russian avant -garde”.
