A participant in a rally on Constitution Day was fined 20 thousand rubles

On February 15, Judge Moskalenko of the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow found Yelena Zakharova, a participant in the March of Change on Constitution Day on December 12, guilty of violating the procedure for holding a public event (under the fifth part of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and fined her 20,000 rubles. This was reported to OVD-Info by the lawyer of the "Public Verdict" Nikolai Zboroshenko, representing the interests of Zakharova.

The Moscow authorities refused to agree on the "March of Change", referring to the fact that the city needs to prepare for the New Year holidays. More than thirty people were detained at the action.
