The Internet Department Anton Nosik became a defendant in a criminal case of initiating hatred and enmity. According to Echo of Moscow, sources familiar with the investigation reported this. According to their information, the case was initiated in connection with the post of a nose in his "live magazine" in October 2015.
The official representative of the metropolitan administration of the UK Julia Ivanova confirmed this. “The case was initiated back in November based on the results of the audit,” she said.
Meanwhile, according to the source of RBC, the investigators were also interested in the performance of the nose on the air of "Echo of Moscow", which, like the post, was dedicated to Syria and refugees from the Middle East. In this regard, two leading radio stations were called for interrogation as witnesses.
Nosik himself said that he learned about the allegedly initiated case from journalists. “I asked me to tell me some details, but they didn’t answer me. I don’t know anything about it,” the blogger said.
At the same time, the source of Interfax in law enforcement agencies stated that no one was charged in this case. According to him, a forensic-linguistic examination has been appointed as part of the investigation, which will allow us to conclude that there is or absence in the actions of the author of the text of the crime. This examination has not yet been completed.
According to him, the criminal case was instituted in November last year on the fact of placing the material on the Internet “Watch Syria from the face of the Earth”, which contains signs of arousing of hatred or enmity on a racial or national basis (Article 282 of the Criminal Code).
In his post, Nosik wrote that he “warmly welcomes” Syria bombing, and the inhabitants of the country “receive exactly what they voted for.”
“Whoever bombed Syria today, I warmly welcome it, and if it is at all erased from the face of the earth, I will never be upset, I just say thanks,” he wrote. “Over the past 70 years, the Middle East has not seen anything from Syria except aggression, war, destruction and grief. Until 2011, they have exported all this horror, since 2011 they have been eaten by them themselves. They need a storm, and it is never a pity that it remains only to minute all the ways to export Jihad to Europe. "
Following this, the Investigative Committee began a pre -investigation of the blogger’s statements for extremism. "On October 1, one of the blog platforms by the Internet user Anton Nosm posts an article under the heading" Wipe Syria from the Earth's face ", possibly containing information aimed at initiating hatred and enmity in relation to a group of persons on a national basis," the corresponding expert studies were assigned as part of the audit, and a procedural decision will be made as the results of the audit. "
He refused to remove the post from LJ. He emphasized that he does not consider his statements extremist. “I don’t see reasons to fuss,” said the nose. “I could explain in detail why I do not consider my statements extremist, but in the absence of a clear definition of extremism, such an explanation seems inappropriate to me.”
