The Iranian side, in particular, is interested in the acquisition of Russian fighters of the Su-30CM type, combat combat aircraft Yak-130, helicopters of the Mi-8 and Mi-17 family, Bastion missile systems, Frigate surface ships, submarines and other samples of military equipment.

The implementation of large -scale plans, however, can interfere with two factors. The first is that Tehran does not have sufficient money to conclude such a contract. In Iran, they expect to purchase Russian weapons on credit, but in Moscow they are not ready to go for this due to the crisis.

The second factor is the UN Security Council resolution, which imposes restrictions on the supply of Iran of ordinary weapons. In accordance with the terms of the transaction, the supply of Tiegran of these weapons can be carried out only with the preliminary permission of the Security Council. These restrictions will be valid until 2020. Prior to this, Russia is unlikely to be able to put Iran with requested weapons.
