Adova robots are already being done

The Ministry of Defense develops the concept of deep robotization of the army. This was in an interview with "Moscow Komsomolets" was told by Deputy Minister of Defense Pavel Popov.

"In Russia, individual units with a single control system will form from shock combat robots. Such" robovoins "will be able to act independently on the battlefield, hacking the enemy’s defense," Popov said.

He clarified that the concept also provides for the creation of robotic parts and compounds. As part of the development work, a number of ground-based military robotics complexes are being developed, the tests of which have already begun. After their completion, combat robotics will begin to enter the armed forces.

Earlier, a representative of the military-industrial commission said that in the armed forces there are forming individual units of robotics systems and complexes for combat use. According to him, in each military district and fleets, separate companies of combat robots are created, their full -time structure and governing bodies are formed. He noted that the tactics of the use of robots in combat conditions must be worked out in practice, in addition, it will be necessary to make the necessary amendments to combat charters and instructions.

The VC adopted the concept of development and combat use of robotics complexes for the period until 2025. According to experts, staged in terms of development and supplies to troops of various kinds of robotics systems, as well as their use on the battlefield, 2017-2018 should be the years.
