"Roev stream" is looking for sponsors for animals

The zoo "Roev Brook" offers the Krasnoyarsk residents to become sponsors for animals.

For the care of animals, the Flora and Fauna Park gives a nominal plate. In return, the sponsor is asked to pay for the meal and treatment of the pet.

Some Krasnoyarsk residents have already responded to the request of the “Road of the Stream”. For example, Krasnoyarka Yana took a river otter by the nicknamed Ruping.

She took custody of such an exotic beast about two weeks ago, and now every month will allocate funds for nutrition, medicine and the expansion of the aviary.

In return, she will receive a free passage to the zoo 2 times a month and a name plate on the aviary.

But, according to Yana, she decided not for the sake of privileges to engage in charity.

“In fact, I really want to see how the animal grows up so that it begins to recognize me. Sometimes when you come up, we still don’t see so often, but I have already inhabited, probably a little to find out, ”says the guardian Yana Krylova.

The zoo explains that they always had a charitable program, but before the pets were mostly guarded by entrepreneurs. Now some major sponsors are forced to abandon the wards.

“Contracts are most often concluded for a year and after a year the company decides in its economic position whether it will extend it or not. Nobody insists - this is charity in its purest form.

Of course, there is an economic calculation for each animal, there may also be discounts. If the company has been working with us for a long time, the price may be lower, ”says Marina Shilikova, head of the information department of the Roev Brush zoo.

Note that small and unpretentious animals, such as otter, foxes and raccoons, are about 2.5 thousand rubles a month.

Caring for a large predator, of course, costs more.

So, the most expensive animal in the zoo - a white bear - costs more than 50 thousand rubles a month, a brown bear - 30 thousand.

If the guardian refuses charity, financing is completely crossing the zoo.

In the “Roal Stream” they note that now about 6 thousand animals need sponsors, including even small individuals.
