The court left the ex-director of Domodedovo under arrest

The Moscow City Court upheld the decision of a lower court to arrest Vyacheslav Nekrasov, the former director of Domodedovo Airport, by the end of February, reports . RIA Novosti

The investigator asked to leave Nekrasov under arrest, since he allegedly might try to interfere with the investigation if he was released from the pre-trial detention center. At the same time, the prosecutor stated that the accusation against Nekrasov was unfounded, since it had been established that there was no causal relationship between the actions of the director and the death of people. According to the prosecutor's office, the investigation did not present any grounds for the arrest to the court.

Earlier on Wednesday, February 24, the Moscow City Court released Svetlana Trishina, the former head of the Russian representative office of Airport management company limited, from a pre-trial detention center under house arrest, and also recognized the detention of another defendant in the case, Andrey Danilov, managing director of Domodedovo airport aviation security, in a pre-trial detention center

Nekrasov, as well as three other defendants from among the top managers and owners of the airport, are accused of providing services that do not meet security requirements, which, according to investigators, prevented the terrorist attack in the arrivals hall of Domodedovo International Airport in 2011 from being prevented.
