Saw performer fined ten thousand for playing on the street

The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow fined Sergei Vyatkin, a saw performer, ten thousand rubles. A protocol was drawn up against the musician under an administrative article on "organizing a simultaneous mass stay." He was detained on February 10, 2016 during a game at the entrance to the Okhotny Ryad shopping center.

Vyatkin told OVD-Info that he intends to appeal the decision. According to him, the court refused to satisfy the defense motion to call witnesses and agreed with the protocol, in which “there was not a word of truth” (Vyatkin previously said that the protocol said that he organized a speech involving ten or more people, while how, according to him, while he was playing, sitting on the steps, no more than two people passed him at a time).

Vyatkin hopes to take the saw and amplifier from the Kitai-Gorod police department, which were taken from him after his arrest and refused to be handed over until the trial.
