The plight of education
Russia spends 20% of the federal budget on defense, and only 3.5% of education. In the amount of education, culture, sports, healthcare and science, Russia spends only 7.5% - as much as on the maintenance of officials and three times less than on defense.
The table is an illustration of the plight of education - a sphere, on which the future of the country primarily depends (and not at all on the army). Moreover, the economy, science, education will not be degraded - the army will not resist.
