Mass check of hostels will take place in Moscow

The Moscow authorities begin to check hostels, which are received complaints from the townspeople. As stated in the message on the official portal of the mayor and the government of the capital, it is expected that the raids will affect about 50 hostels, which Muscovites complain about.

The check will begin on March 10. Police, FMS and Rospotrebnadzor will be identified. "Inspections should identify those hostels that do not comply with sanitary standards and cause many complaints from local residents," said Vladimir Chernikov, head of the Department of National Policy, Interregional Relations and Tourism.

"Most of these hostels - two -thirds - are in the residential sector. Their addresses and location are well known. Typical disorders that are allowed by bad hosts of hostels - the absence of a separate entrance and signs, too large number of beds and a lack of bathrooms. Some housekeeper hotels working with disorders have already begun to close, without waiting for checks from the outside Inspectors.

Earlier it became known that the Moscow authorities plan to file claims against owners of demolished outlets with a demand to compensate for the damage caused by underground pedestrian crossings. In the technical conclusion prepared by MADI specialists, it is stated that "the so -called self -building caused damage to the cladding, destruction of the supporting elements of transition structures and damage to waterproofing."

On the night of February 8 to 9, 97 out of 104 trade objects recognized by self -construction were demolished. The pavilions were demolished near the metro stations "Chistye Prudy", "Taganskaya", "Shchelkovskaya", "Partizanskaya", "Sokol", on the streets of Lusinovskaya, Marxist and others. The work was carried out with the support of the bailiffs and the police, conflicts with tenants arose at several points.

Mayor Sergei Sobyanin called the demolition "a clear example of the fact that the truth is not sold in Russia, the legacy, the history of our country." According to the mayor, the owners of the demolished objects should not "hide behind pieces of paper about property acquired clearly with crazy."
