"Even the very formulation of the issue of the possible departure of Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov from his position caused a large alarming public outcry in the republic. Following the Chechen people, representatives of all nationalities living in the region, Ramzan Kadyrov, are the property of the people! The people themselves determine who will lead the republic, ”the document says.

“We, a single family of the peoples of the Chechen Republic, do not say: Ramzan, don’t leave! We say: Ramzan will not leave! And we believe that as a faithful son of the Chechen people, a Muslim and Patriot of the Great Russia, he is obliged to submit to the will of the people! Allah Akbar !!!”, the participants in the appeal emphasize.

Accepted by the forum participants unanimously, the resolution consists of five points. The signed are asking Vladimir Putin "On the support of the candidacy of Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov at the upcoming universal vote." They also “urgently demand” from Kadyrov himself to continue the activities of the head of the region, since the people not only do not remove the powers of the national leader from him, but also expresses even greater confidence in the need for his presence in the political arena. ”

The resolution also refers to the need to rally and continue the course of the first President of Chechnya Akhmat-Khaji Kadyrov. In addition, the participants in the meeting urge the "multinational people of the Russian Federation to rally around the national leader V.V. Putin, whose faithful ally is the Hero of Russia Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov."

A few days earlier, Kadyrov said on NTV on the air that his time was on the post of head of Chechnya. However, he could not name the name of his possible successor.

"To be honest, I am doing things, and I did it until today. So that I have not been used by my name against my people, I believe that the leadership of the state needs to find another person. I say - my time has passed. We have a lot of successors in the team, there are very good specialists," Kadyrov said.

According to the head of Chechnya, he has not yet decided whether he would run for the next period. “I didn’t think about it. I am sure that, first of all, the candidate should have the choice of the President of Russia. If he says that a person approaches the post of head of the republic, and the people supports him, then he should take part. And the politician eager for power for the sake of power will not achieve anything,” Kadyrov wrote.

On February 23, in an interview with RSN, Kadyrov said that he did not want to remain at the head of the republic. "Does Kadyrov want to continue? I do not want to continue.
