The acting governor of the Trans -Baikal Territory Natalya Zhdanova, appointed to this post in mid -February, denied a message about increasing her wages. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the regional government.
“I did not ask anyone to prepare a draft resolution on changing the salary of the governor and did not sign anything,” Zhdanova said, commenting on the draft document that appeared the other day on the official portal of the Trans -Baikal Territory.
“I regard this as a lunge personally against me and against the politics that I am instructed to pursue. I plan to not only figure out who instructed to prepare such a decision, but also punish, up to the removal,” Zhdanova said.
According to the head of the region, she is not going to start work with changes in wages, acquisitions of new cars and repair in rooms, as this does not add work efficiency.
“On the contrary, I’m going to continue the policy of optimizing the number and wages of civil servants. Perhaps someone did not like this,” the acting governor suggested.
Zhdanova was appointed the acting governor of Transbaikalia on February 17 instead of Konstantin Ilkovsky, who resigned . Later, information appeared in the media that the acting head of the region ordered to increase the salary several times. It was also proposed to increase material assistance, a one -time monetary payment when granting leave, as well as for the implementation of especially important orders.
