Initially, the project was conceived as instrumental, because the only tool on which I was able to play at that time was a guitar. Since then, I have become a little insolent and entered the territory of a number of instruments. Just “Vesna” demonstrates my skill or inability to program drums, I also first gave a voice and spent five hours of studio time only on the detachment of the sound of the guitar. The Range track recorded the first experiments with modular synthesizers. And if “Vesna” is a track with a long and complex production, an entry in Ilya Mazaev’s studio, information in New York with Radmila Markidonova and a mastering at the Metropolis London studio, then “Range” is a completely home record.
I do not really believe that instrumental music in Russia can become popular, gathering halls and have mass success, so I selfishly bear the plan to make at least some sounds into the microphone. So I laughed, and the music is a little less instrumental than before. Ha ha.
After returning from RBMA , I finally convinced of the need to buy modules. I am closely friends and communicate with musicians who form the electronic scene of our country. The clock spent in the Showurum of Fedi Synthman Vetkalov , endless conversations, acquaintance with Dima Churikov, who, among other things, makes cases for modules, and tons of tea with Igor Vdovin ... I think the number of first -class communication has grown into a serious interest in the modules. And yes, I have a pair of Igor’s modules - only because it is a good soul man.
Now I have material on a mini-album, but I want to record LP right away, I didn’t have to work with large forms-this is the goal with which I will live, I think, the next year.
On March 11, the first solo concert in the Mars gallery will be held, it will be swift and most likely with Sapport, the drummer Maxim Prokofiev will perform with me, we will also play a cover in the Krasnoyarsk group “Govna Suitcase” (CHG)!
