Kopeysk IK-6 has a bad reputation. There were repeatedly unrest of prisoners, the main reason for which were torture and requisitions practiced by the administration. The most loud protest was held on November 24-26, 2012 . She was accompanied by the attacks of the security forces on the colonies of the prisoners gathered at the gate of the colony.
After this action, the chief of IK-6 Denis Meganov was fired. In 2014-2015, the FSINOVTS was sentenced by two sentences in cases of abuse of authority, but both sentences were conditional , and in the second case, Mechanov was amnestied .
At the same time, things were initiated against the participants in protests in the colony and unrest at its gate. The verdict in the first of these cases - 2 years 3 months of strict regime - was issued on January 29 to a participant in the unrest from the outside IK -6. The hearing in the case of those who protest in the colony itself has been continuing since the spring of 2015 .
