The fourth Reich

We thought that the times of fascism sunk into oblivion irrevocably, but we were very mistaken. The British journalist Simon Heffer wrote in 2011: "Hitler failed to conquer Europe by a military way, modern Germans succeeded in trade and financial discipline. Welcome to the fourth Reich." Simon was also mistaken: the fourth Reich is not in Germany today, he moved to Russia, and no one noticed this. It's not about trade and not in financial discipline.

Fascism as a socio-political phenomenon has not gone anywhere. It took place in Italy in the 1920s, in Germany of the 1930s and the first half of the 1940s, from where he migrated to the consciousness of contemporaries as a synonym and the perception of German national socialism. Today, the understanding of fascism among the absolute majority is completely and completely connected with the aggression of the Third Reich against the USSR and all that filled life in Germany itself and in the territories occupied by it from 1933 to 1945. Swastika, black leather raincoats and "shmaisers", Gestapo, welcome gestures "Zig Hale!" And "Hail Hitler!" - This is just an attribute. The essence and meaning of fascism is completely different.

The Italian philosopher and publicist Umberto Eco (1932–2016) gave fascism his definition back in the 1980s. Its 14 signs of fascism looked like this: 1. The cult of tradition. 2. Rejection of modernism, irrationalism. 3. The cult of action for the sake of action. 4. Disagreement and doubts are betrayal. 5. Fear of diversity, migrants, gays, xenophobia. 6. Appeal to the frustrated middle class. 7. OSERNITY OF THE CERTION Theory. 8. Pacifism is aiding the enemy. 9. Contempt to the weak. 10. The cult of heroism and the cult of death. 11. Starting populism, the people and its will are expressed in the leader. 12. Machism, rejection of non -standard sexual behavior. 13. Lies and propaganda. 14. Donested New Maids, which prevents critical thinking.

I do not want to argue with Umberto IVF, but most of his signs are abstract and unclean. Many signs of fascism according to IVF can be found in almost any country in the world, not to mention Ukraine or Russia. This confuses, because with a strong desire for promotion masters (and it has already manifested in Moscow), the label of fascism can be safely “hanged” on neighboring Ukraine.

Fascism lives in the heads and actions, and not in external attributes

Fascism is a corporate concept. In Russia and only in Russia, all branches of power merged with business elite, the media and power structures in order to maintain the inviolability of their position and stolen capital. I do not see the difference between the Gestapo and the riot police, as I do not see the difference between the propaganda of Goebbels and the first Russian television channel. If a resident of Moscow, being a member of the criminal corporation of the authorities, travels in a Japanese car if he is dressed in American jeans and a French shirt, if he is at English boots and with Swiss hours, this does not mean that he cannot be a fascist. It can even!

Fascism lives in the heads and actions, and not in external attributes. The state that captures foreign territories that creates in its country conditions that do not allow dissent can be called as you like, but it becomes the fourth Reich in its content. A citizen who supports such power and such a state may not look like a fascist, but he is an involuntary, but an accomplice and supporter of fascism. In such a state, a permanent Fuhrer appears, to whom monuments are erected during life.

Here are five clear and specific signs of fascism:

Great -power chauvinism.

The merger of all branches of power-executive, legislative and judicial-with business elite, media and power structures.

Aggression against neighbors, military interference in the internal affairs of other countries and the annexation of foreign territories.

The persecution of dissent and political killings in their own country.

The worship of his permanent leader.

This definition of fascism is definitely approaching Russia.
