Finalists of the "Difference" Awards were announced
The jury of the poetic prize “Difference” formed a short list of books applying for a prize in 2016.
The jury of the award includes the founders Igor Gulin, Kirill Korchagin, Denis Larionov and Leo Oborin, as well as the invited member Alexander Konakov. After a long discussion, the jury decided to expand the list, traditionally including five authors, to one position, because it could not abandon any of the books presented.
As a result, the following books were included in the short list:

The 2016 winner will be named on March 22 in Moscow in the Jean-Jacques club on Maroseyka. At the same time, the presentation of two new books of the Generation series will be held there, which will now be published with the Mark of the Difference Award. The first authors whose books were published in the updated “generation” were Oksana Vasyakina and Ksenia Charyeva.
In addition, the collection “Polina Andrukovich will also be presented there. Articles and materials ”(M.: Book Review (Argo Risk), 2016) dedicated to the last year laureate -Polina Andrukovich. The collection includes articles by famous critics, poets and philologists (Danila Davydov, Alexander Markov, Kirill Korchagin, Alla Gorbunova, Alexander Tsibul, Evgeny Suslova, Sergey Sdobnov, Alexey Konakov, Lada Chizhova), as well as new, previously not published poems by Andrukovich.
The "Difference" prize is founded in 2013. In the center of her attention is poetry, which becomes a study. From the premium manifesto: “This is not about research in a purely scientific sense, but about a special artistic optics in which the text itself is a means of understanding for the poet and its reader. <...> The variety of approaches entails a variety of conclusions and solutions. The difference between them, opposing a template uniform, is a necessary condition for the existence of poetry, which the bonus wants to pay attention to. " The award is timed to the International Day of Poetry, which is celebrated on March 21. The material content of the award is the original sculpture and a collection of articles on the laureate.
