The euro exchange rate on the Moscow Exchange on the evening of March 10 again exceeded 80 rubles. In the middle of the day, it dropped to its lowest level since December 2015, but then rose by about four rubles in a few hours.
- During trading on March 10 on the Moscow Exchange, the euro fell to a minimum of 75.87 rubles - about two rubles below the opening level of trading. The temporary fall in the exchange rate was caused by the decision of the European Central Bank to lower the base interest rate from 0.5 to 0 percent. The rate has not changed since September 2014.
- A dollar on the Moscow Exchange costs about 71.7 rubles. During the auction, the US currency fell to a minimum of 69.94 rubles.
