Turgenevka will be held "Mandelstam-Day"

On Monday, March 14, in the reader library named after I.S. Turgenev in Moscow will be a chamber, one-day festival "Mandelstam-Day" dedicated to the 125th anniversary of Osip Mandelstam.

“Mandelstam-Day” is, in fact, the reflection festival of representatives of the new generation about the great poet and his role in their own modern life. - the organizers report. - The audience of this reflection is the same young and the same demanding, possibly not knowing or knowing not everything, but, in any case, who wants to reflect, discuss poetry and the story created by it and vice versa. The library in its informal form (not without reason - "Turgenevka") here acts as an ideal space for reading, communication and understanding. "

Program of the Mandelstam-Day festival:

• Lecture "Osip Mandelstam. Silver Age Lemuch ” - Artem Novichenkov, literature teacher at school 2009, literary critic, writer;
• “Alien harvest”, a poetic sketch-reflection on Mandelstam-the team of “Battle of Poems”.
• “Space of the Word”, a 30-minute acting performance on the works of Osip Mandelstam using the word and time, poems, articles and votes-Pavel Mikhailov, actor, curator, including the Brodsky project. Poetry. Akhmatova ";

At the end of the program, the guests of the evening will be offered an open microphone for reading the poet's favorite poems.
