School principal will be fined for allowing first-graders to access extremist sites

On March 10, 2016, the prosecutor's office of the Chelyabinsk region announced the initiation of an administrative case under part 1 of article 6.17 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the established requirements for the dissemination of information products among children containing information that is harmful to their health and (or) development) against the director of the Uysk elementary general education school. The basis was the results of the audit, during which the prosecutor's office found that it was possible to access extremist materials from the school's computers. Principals can be fined 10,000 rubles for restricting first-graders' access to extremist materials.
