The official residence of the President of Russia is the estate of Novo-Ogravo, located near the village of Usovo. The village itself begins right behind the fence of the residence and is part of the rural settlement of Barvikhinskoye. Here, in addition to the first persons, high-ranking officials and stars of show business live, but the closest neighbors of the president are not related to either one. About twenty families live next to the fence of the residence in the building of the former stable, built back in the 19th century.

The residence of Vladimir Putin around the entire perimeter is surrounded by a gray five -meter fence with dozens of cameras. From the southeast side behind a small fence there is a two-story blue hut-a local primary school. Nearby is a small grocery store, the only one in the area where you can buy at normal prices. Nearby, on the side of the road, several broken and abandoned cars and a number of incomprehensible wooden buildings half of human height. If you do not know that you are five hundred meters from the main suburban presidential residence in Russia, it seems that this is a small village in a non -prosperous region.

Through the road from a large gray fence there is a plain beige building in two floors. In the courtyard, linen is dried and street cats walk. This is a former stable built before the revolution. Later, the stable was arranged and settled here. This building still remains resident, although they wanted to resettle it thirty years ago.

Like a stone wall

“We have a neighbor even wrote to Putin, well,” says Galina Anatolyevna Mikheeva. “From there the answer came that we had a major overhaul. But there was nothing.” Next to the presidential residence, this phrase even sounds comical. Galina Anatolyevna and her neighbor Tamara Alekseevna Snegireva, we stand in a small kitchen of a communal apartment, which is located on the ground floor of the building. Paul - wooden boards laid on the ground. On the walls and ceiling, soot, in the kitchen is closely - even a table does not fit. Strong humidity is felt. “We don’t have a foundation-the stable is like it. In the spring here is damp, and in the fall the fleas are eaten.” Galina Anatolyevna begins quickly, by points, to list all the “charms of life” in the former stable.

“The money was allocated for pipes and the roof - seven million eight hundred thousand rubles. Well, they covered the roof, but no pipes, they didn’t do it.” Later, Galina clarifies: the neighbors have already flows. Wallpaper in the house is not glued - there is no sense. They still depart from constant dampness, so the walls in the corridor are just naked concrete.

A high fence and the old church of the Savior of a miraculous image are visible from the window - it is located on the territory of the residence. “There is his roof,” Tamara Alekseevna shows to the second floor of a beautiful building behind a gray fence. Tamara Snegireva has been living here since the 80s. She used to work as a doctor, but now she helps her neighbors - he makes injections when necessary, because it is not easy for the nearest clinic to get to the elderly. According to local residents, for the first time they came back about the resettlement of the stables in 1987, and then stopped, then sounded again. Young people from here mostly have already gone out, some in Moscow, some to the regions. There were old people who have nowhere to go.

“The last time they wanted to resettle us in 2002. We collected suitcases, filled the questionnaires who wanted to where ... Many of these people have already died. Yesterday we came from the administration again, but this is before the election . You will get a place in the cemetery, two for one and a half. We don’t believe anyone. And now we live with the Putin fence. Do people not?”

"He doesn't go here"

The estate of Novo-Ogravo was built in the 19th century by decree of Grand Duke Sergey Alexandrovich , Moscow General General, the fifth son of Alexander II. Then the stables adjacent to her were erected, in which people now live. In the 1950s, Novo-Ogarsevo received the official status of the state residence, and foreign delegations stopped there. Around the same time, the second floor was attached to the stable and converted it into a residential apartment building.

“The motorcies do not drive here - they go further. Only helicopters fly endlessly. We are waving, but who listens or sees us,” Tamara Snegirev shrugs.

The main exit from the residence is located in Kalchug, about a kilometer from this residential stable. And next to communal services there is a gate that, apparently, are used for the residence staff.

“The main thing is quiet here. And then the terrorist attacks were everywhere. They showed: the car drove up to the bus and exploded. After all, they can blow up anywhere - spite Putin. Sorry for him - everything you want to do ... tries for us. But he doesn’t go here, people gave him a piece of paper - he will go to check for everyone?” - says Galina Anatolyevna.

“He is our father, lives next to him,” Mary Ivanovna laughs, another resident of a communal apartment. “But this does not help.”

“But they will not put us in prison for an interview?” Tamara Alekseevna asks in the end. “Although I'm not afraid: they will feed it there.”
