Zaporozhye without Lenin
In the Ukrainian city of Zaporozhye, local authorities dismantled the 20-meter monument to Vladimir Lenin on March 17-18. It was installed in 1964. In May 2015, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a law on condemning the communist and Nazi regimes, which involves, among other things, and the dismantling of all monuments of these eras.
