The organizer of the rally in Olonets (Karelia) against high heating tariffs was summoned to court in the case of violation of the established procedure for holding the event (part 1 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). According to the 7×7 online publication, the reason for summoning Igor Nekin to court was that one of the participants in the rally on March 20 was holding a poster calling for the resignation of Governor Alexander Khudilainen, which, according to the police, “has nothing to do with purpose of the event." Meanwhile, during the rally, a resolution was adopted, in one of the points of which it was said that there was no confidence in the government of Karelia and personally in Khudilainen.
A court hearing has been scheduled for March 30.
