Leader of the international Lezgin movement killed

In Makhachkala, the chairman of the board of the International Lezgi national movement "Sadval" Nazim Hajiyev was found murdered. The website of the Dagestan newspaper Chernovik reports , citing official data, that Gadzhiev died as a result of multiple stab wounds. "Mediazona" notes that there are no official reports on the death of Hajiyev on the websites of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Investigative Committee and the prosecutor's office of the republic.

Almost exactly one year before this event, on March 24, 2015, was found dead Sadvala activist Ruslan Magomedragimov in Kaspiysk. His comrades assumed that he was poisoned by injection with a syringe. At the same time, the investigation stated that there were no grounds to consider the death violent.

The Sadval movement advocates the reunification of the Lezgins of Russia and Azerbaijan.
