On the morning of March 22, two explosions occurred at the Brussels Zaventem airport. The attack killed, according to preliminary data, 14 people. Later, an explosion occurred on a subway train at a station in the city center, where about 20 people died. The exact number of deaths is still unknown.
Responsibility for the explosion was claimed by the Islamic State (the organization was recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in the Russian Federation). Later, the police released a photo of the suspect in the terrorist attack at the airport.
