The punishment for the daughter of ex-senator Roslyak for the theft of 6.5 billion rubles was delayed for 14 years

The daughter of the former vice-mayor of Moscow, ex-member of the Federation Council, and now auditor of the Accounts Chamber Yuri Roslyak, Maria Roslyak, was found guilty of embezzling 6.5 billion rubles from the bankrupt Bank Lights of Moscow. She received four years in prison, as well as a 14-year deferment of execution, reports . Bankir.ru

The court found Roslyak guilty of fraud on an especially large scale (Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code) and embezzlement on an especially large scale (Part 4 of Article 160) for the theft of 6.5 billion rubles from the bankrupt Bank Lights of Moscow. Each of these articles provides for a punishment of up to 10 years in prison. The Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) was recognized as victims of the actions of the daughter of the former first vice-mayor of Moscow. In addition to Roslyak, several other people are accused in the case.

Roslyak made a deal with the investigation, and therefore her case was considered in a special manner. The hearings in the case of the official's daughter lasted three days. Lawyer Magomed Gadzhiev, representing the interests of the victims, noted that the investigation did not find out where more than 6 billion rubles were spent. “Roslyak did not tell the investigators anything new, but only shifted the blame onto those who are wanted or have already been arrested,” he explained.

As Bankir.ru notes, unlike other defendants in the case, Roslyak was left under recognizance not to leave during the investigation. At the beginning of the investigation, she was the owner of 17 real estate properties located in Moscow and the Moscow region. It owned five apartments, in particular in Bolshoi Karetny Lane with an area of ​​280 square meters. m and on Gilyarovsky Street with an area of ​​115 sq. m, several parking spaces, land plots and two mansions in the Mytishchi district of the Moscow region with an area of ​​827 and 417 sq. m. m. By the end of the investigation, the accused managed to sell the property or transfer it to close people, in particular to her four-year-old daughters. They managed to take under arrest only one of her not the largest apartments in the Meshchansky district of Moscow, taken on a mortgage, and a share in a commercial company.

The court, at the request of the prosecutor, sentenced Roslyak to four years in prison, but postponed the execution of the sentence until the youngest child of the defendant reaches the age of 14 - in addition to her two four-year-old daughters, Maria Roslyak will soon have another child.
