Triki will perform in Moscow

On March 30, a concert of the British trip-hop musician Triki will be held at the Moscow club Yotaspace.

According to Yotaspace , the concert will open IC3PEAK and HKG Knights .

The performance in Moscow is included in the world tour program in support of the 11th studio album of Trike, Skilled Mischanics , which was recorded in January of this year, which was recorded with the participation of his old friends- DJ Milo (Milo Johnson) and drummer Luke Harris.

At the concerts of the tour, in addition to the tracks from the new album, such as Diving Away , Beijing to Berlin and Boy , Triki will play his old hits.

In the early 1990s, Triki was recorded as an invited musician in the early albums of Massive Attack , but was never officially a participant in this group. In 1994, he began a solo career.

For the music of the debut album of the Triki “Maxinquaye” , connecting the elements of hip-hop, Soul, jazz, Dab, rock and electronics, journalists came up with a special genre designation-trip-hop. Along with Massive Attack and Portished, Triki is considered one of the founders of this direction.

The album “Maxinquaye” became gold in the UK, was recognized as the best record of 1995 according to the New Musical Express magazine, included in the list of the main records of the 90s magazine Rolling Stone and the list of “Stty British albums of all time” by Q.

Since then, the musician has released 10 more studio albums. The last three - False idols (2013), “Adrian Thaws” (2014) and “Skilled Mechanics” - on the False idols label.
