Two raw eggs were thrown into the Rock Group "Resurrection" at a concert in Simferopol after the phrase about the occupation of Crimea. It is reported by Kryminform. The incident occurred in the evening of March 26, but information about it fell in the media only on Monday.
The second vocalist and guitarist of the group Andrei Sapunov did not participate in the concert. According to Kryminform, the leader of the Resurrection Alexei Romanov, so explained the absence of a colleague: "Our comrade Andrei Sapunov did not go to your occupied Crimea." At the same time, the musician immediately made a reservation: "But Crimea is yours."
As the agency reports, Romanov made his statement at the beginning of the concert. When an incident with egg throwing occurred, it is not specified. According to Kryminform, the eggs were abandoned by a some girl who was dissatisfied with the absence of Sapunov and the quality of the performance.
Eggs fell into the apparatus standing on the stage. At the same time, only one of them crashed, judging by the photo.
Meanwhile, the New Gazeta reports with reference to one of the spectators that after Romanov’s statement, “several people left the hall, apparently went to a neighboring store, bought eggs and did what they did.”
Romanov, for his part, told the publication that he did not talk about the occupation. “I just said that Andrei Sapunov fell ill,” he said. “All this is like a provocation against the group.”
Meanwhile, the director of the Resurrection Vladimir Sapunov, the brother of the second vocalist, told Komsomolskaya Pravda that Romanov said: "Andrei considers your territory occupied, but we are here because we are a different position."
“We did not want to do this - to say that there is such a position in the group,” the director added. “I said at first that he (Andrey Sapunov. - Ed.) Just fell ill. Then they began to pester Romanov too much, and he said as it is.”
The organizer of the concert - Simferopol Rock Club - reported on March 26 at the end of the concert that the group announced about the non -participation of Sapunov only a week before the arrival, and in confirmation of this placed the facsimile of a ticket acquired for the musician. “They notified that Andrei Sapunov had a heart operation for this day,” the organizer wrote further. “Alexei Romanov had to report this from the stage. What he eventually voiced, shocked us!”
