The faction of the presidential bloc Petro Poroshenko in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine nominated the speaker of the Rada Vladimir Groysman to the post of Prime Minister of the country. This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to the deputy from the BPP Alexei Goncharenko.
“As our colleagues from the Popular Front asked:“ Give us a candidate, ”so we give them a candidate,” the agency’s interlocutor noted.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian Pravda reports with reference to another deputy from the BPP, Oleg Barn, that his faction gave the current Prime Minister Arsenia Yatsenyuk a week to announce a resignation. “If Yatsenyuk voluntarily does not write a resignation statement, our faction in full force will leave the coalition,” Barna warned. This will mean early parliamentary elections.
The second month in Ukraine continues the government crisis. The Verkhovna Rada achieves the resignation from the post of Prime Minister of the Popular Front of Yatsenyuk. In mid -February, Yulia Tymoshenko first announced the exit from the ruling coalition, then Andrei Sadovoy’s “self -help”. The coalition, the main members of which are the BPP and the Popular Front, was preserved only because, although its fifth member, the radical party of Oleg Lyashko, last fall, announced the transition to the opposition, not a single deputy from this party filed an exit from the coalition.
In March, among the most likely applicants for the post of prime minister, Groysman and the current Minister of Finance were called Natalya Yaresko. At the same time, regarding the candidacy of Groysman, it was noted that with his appointment in return Yatsenyuk, all key posts in the state will be under the control of Poroshenko.
