The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow has fined Anton Antonov-Ovseenko, an activist of the Yabloko party, 15,000 rubles for a solo picket near the presidential administration demanding the resignation of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, RAPSI . reports The case was considered by Judge Alesya Orekhova.
Single pickets, in which Yabloko members and other activists took part, took place on January 26. According to OVD-Info, four people were detained. Former party leader Sergei Mitrokhin was fined 10,000 rubles on March 1, although, according to himself and eyewitnesses, he did not even have time to picket - he was detained when he showed the police a poster. Another detained party activist, Stanislav Belyavsky, was also fined ten thousand rubles, RAPSI reports.
