The French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo has published a new cartoon dedicated to last week's terrorist attacks in Belgium. The drawing appeared on the publication's Facebook page .

The cartoon shows Belgian police officers drinking draft beer. One of the cops says, "Let's make sure there aren't bombs in the beer." The caption for the picture reads: “Attacks: Belgians take action.”

This is Charlie Hebdo's second cartoon about events in Brussels. The previous one was published on March 24 and was called “Last words of the jihadists.” It showed the alleged perpetrators of the attack at Zavantem airport with luggage carts. One of them, turning to the other, asks the question: “Did you take it from the window or from the aisle?” Moreover, two terrorists each have only one glove on their hand.

Previously, the Belgian publication HLN drew attention to the fact that the alleged suicide bombers, who were recorded by surveillance cameras at the airport, each wore one glove . Terrorists could hide detonators in them.

The terrorist attacks in Brussels occurred on March 22: two explosions occurred at Zavantem airport, then another at the Maelbeek metro station. According to the latest official data, the total number of victims was 35 people - on Monday, the head of the Belgian Ministry of Health said that four of those injured during the attacks died in hospital . 340 people were injured. The Islamic State (the organization’s activities are prohibited in Russia) took responsibility for the incident.

Belgian authorities have named the two suicide bombers who carried out the bombings: Khalid al-Bakrawi in the metro and his brother Brahim in the airport. Along with Brahim, according to the authorities, was the third alleged participant in the terrorist attacks, Najim Laashraoui, who, according to investigators, managed to escape.

On March 26, police also detained a suspect in the airport bombing, Faisal Sheffou . It was noted that he was considered an independent journalist and, in particular, worked for the Journal du Muslim.
