RSUSU protests against the dismissal of professors

Today, March 30, several dozen students and teachers of the Russian State Humanitarian University (RSUSU) reached a rally against the dismissal of 15 professors of the university.

It is reported by "Medusa" . The recently appointed rector Yevgeny Ivakhnenko entered the courtyard of the RSUSU building, where the rally was held, and, according to an eyewitness , joined the action participants in a “lively but polite dispute”.

In particular, the rector denied information about the decision of the leadership of the Russian State University to dismiss professors, as well as the planning to unite the Institute of Philology and History (IFU) with the Mass Media Institute.

The dismissal of the leading professors of the RSU - Yuri Mann, Nina Pavlova, Vadim Gaevsky, Alexander Militarev, Nikolai Fedorov and Vladimir Vybo - became known on March 29. Some of them confirmed the dismissal reports. It was also reported that 15 professors will fall under the reduction.

In turn, Yevgeny Ivakhnenko said that although the university is being reorganized, these teachers will not be dismissed. Soon, the press service of the Russian State Humanitarian University published a certificate of personnel management, refuting information about the dismissal of Yuri Mann, Nina Pavlova, Vadim Gaevsky and Vladimir Dybo.

“There will be no dismissal. - said the rector of the RSUSU to the participants of today's rally. - These 15 people remain. I’ll call everyone and apologize. ”
