Georgy Alburov, an employee of the Anti-Corruption Foundation, filed an application with the Investigative Committee and the prosecutor's office demanding to check the origin of funds from Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin for the purchase of an apartment.
According to Alburov, Rogozin bought an apartment, the cost of which was estimated by Transparency International at 500 million rubles, exchanging his former living space with an additional payment. The FBK employee estimated the difference between the cost of two apartments at 200 million rubles.
Alburov published a certificate issued by Rosreestr in 2015, according to which Dmitry Rogozin and his relatives have owned a 346-meter apartment on Starovolynskaya Street in Moscow since December 2013 (information about the owners has been removed from the Rosreestr database).
At the same time, the former owner of this apartment, Livi Isaev, from the same time became the owner of the Rogozins' former apartment in Bolshoi Tishinsky Lane, Alburov said.
In this regard, the head of the investigation department of the FBK requires the competent authorities to find out where the member of the government could get such funds.
