Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed his adviser Anton Ustinov from his post. The decree of the head of state was published on the Kremlin website.

The text of the document indicates that Ustinov was fired due to a transfer to another job.

Earlier, Kommersant wrote that Ustinov had already been introduced as the chairman of the board of the insurance company SOGAZ . Its current leader is the son of the head of the presidential administration, Sergei Ivanov.

According to RBC, he will move to Sberbank to the position of senior vice president and will oversee the insurance business.

“It is expected that Ivanov will be responsible for the development of the Wealth Management block. [Head of Sberbank German] Gref has long been looking for a person who will pick up this important direction for the bank. Now it is supervised by Pyotr Koltypin, who is also responsible for the territorial development of Sberbank,” said RBC’s interlocutor.

In 2004–2008, Ustinov served as head of the legal department of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation. Then for about four years he worked as an assistant and deputy head of the secretariat of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin, and also served as executive secretary of the government commission for the development of the fuel and energy complex.

Ustinov became an advisor to the president in June 2012.

In 2001, Novaya Gazeta called him the nephew of Vladimir Ustinov, at that time acting. Prosecutor General, now the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy in the Southern Federal District. In March of this year, Lenta.ru, citing its sources, denied this relationship.
