Extension of the arrest of Peter Pavlensky
On October 31, at 15:00, a meeting will be held in the Taganskoye District Court of Moscow to extend the arrest of the actor-activist Peter Pavlensky. He is in custody since November in the case of arson of the FSB door on Lubyanka.

Meanwhile, Pavlensky himself, by video, announced in the court the re -qualification of his case on part 1 of Art. 243 of the Criminal Code ("destruction or damage to cultural heritage or cultural values"). Both articles provide for up to three years in prison.
Last Friday it became known that Pavlensky was transferred to the Botyrskaya prison for 10 days.
In the "Butyrka" Pavlensky was transferred from the Center of Serbsky on February 23. On February 26, the Tagan court extended the arrest of the artist until April 5 inclusive. The term of inquiry was extended until April 6th.
On the night of November 9, 2015, Pavlensky doused the front door of the entrance No. 1 of the Russian FSB building with gasoline and set it on fire. "The burning door of the Lubyanka is a glove that society throws into the face of a terrorist threat ... But terrorism can exist only due to the animal instinct of fear. To go against this human instinct forces an unconditional protective reflex," the statement of Pavlensky said. He called his action "threat."
