
Journalist Dmitry Tsilikin was found dead in his apartment in St. Petersburg. According to Fontanka.ru, according to preliminary information, he died from stab wounds more than two days ago.
The last time cylikin got in touch with relatives and friends at the end of last week, when he returned from a business trip to Riga. His body was discovered by relatives.
On the fact of the death of a journalist, a criminal case has been instituted under Part 1 of Art. 105 Criminal Code (murder). This was reported by RIA Novosti by the senior assistant to the head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of St. Petersburg Sergey Kapitonov.
According to Kapitonov, a number of examinations were appointed in the case, including the forensic medical, and various versions of death are considered. He noted that the case received a great resonance and is under special control of the management of the Reginal Administration of the Investigative Committee.
Dmitry Tyilikin graduated from LGITMIK. From 1982 to 1990 he served as an actor at the N.P. Akimov comedy Theater. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, he took up journalism and was published in the newspaper "Hour of Peak". There he went from a correspondent to the editor of the Culture and Society bloc.
In parallel, cylikin worked on television. In particular, he was the author and host of programs on the RTR, the fifth channel and radio station "Echo of St. Petersburg". In the 2000s, Dmitry cylikin was published in a large number of newspapers and magazines: Vedomosti, Kommersant, Vogue, Elle, Expert, Profile, DP.
