The Basmanny District Court of Moscow on Friday, April 1, decided to impose an administrative fine of 10,000 rubles on Mikhail Askarin, who on March 13 participated in the traveling anti-war exhibition “Not Peace”. It is reported by RAPSI with reference to the press secretary of the court Yunona Tsareva.
Earlier, regarding other participants in the action, the court also concluded that their actions violated the requirements of the law “On meetings, rallies, demonstrations, marches and pickets”. Marina Shebelyan and Daria Serenko were fined 20,000 rubles on March 16. Alexandra Lavrova, Katrin Nenasheva, Ksenia Tretyukhina and Tatyana Sushenkova were reclassified from the second part of 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (organization of an unapproved action) to the fifth part of 20.2 of the Administrative Code (participation in an unapproved action) and were given a fine of 10 thousand rubles. Anna Bokler and Ivan Karamnov each received a fine of 10,000 rubles under the fifth part of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
