The Mordovian head of the FSIN illegally refuses the authorized persons of the anarchist Ilya Romanov, who was delivered to the region to serve nine years of maximum security, in information about the whereabouts of the Politsek. This was reported by Kasparov.ru with reference to the employee of the civil rights committee Larisa Romanov, the former wife of the anarchist.
On March 11, Romanova was taken to the stage from the pre-trial detention center-1 in Nizhny Novgorod . At the same time, neither the mother of Politzek, nor his lawyer Evgeny Bubin, in violation of the law, was informed of this. In addition, as the interlocutor of the publication said, Politzeku was not allowed to wait for the outcome of the proceedings in their lawsuit by the FSIN.
The last known location of the anarchist is the transit prison "Potma". Which institution had in mind Romanov, it is incomprehensible. As far as is known, in the village of Potma, the Zubovo-Polyansky district of Mordovia, only IK-18 is located in a strict regime. Meanwhile, investigative insulators are usually used as transit prisons - there are two of them in the region: one in Saransk, the other in its suburb of Ruzayevka.
Romanova noticed that in the Mordovian Federal Penitentiary Service, the whereabouts of the Politzek is probably known. “The decision on the place of serving the term of convicts with the article“ Terrorism ”, like Ilya’s, decides in advance GUFSIN in Moscow,” she explained.
At the same time, the human rights activist added, according to the law, the Federal Penitentiary Service is obliged to inform relatives and proxies about the whereabouts of the prisoners within 10 days. However, the request sent by Romanova on behalf of the civil rights committee remains unanswered for three weeks.
The interlocutor of the publication emphasized that the Politsyk "was in a conflict with law enforcement officers who put pressure on him in Nizhny Novgorod." “I'm afraid they will create problems in Mordovia,” she said.
The human rights activist also recalled that Romanov was put on preventive accounting as an extremist . “This is generally very bad for the prisoner,” the interlocutor continued the publication. “The colony officers because of this can easily deprive Romanov’s right to correspond even with a lawyer.”
On the night of October 26, 2013, Romanov suffered, experiencing a homemade firecracker in the square in the center of Nizhny Novgorod. The anarchist lost his left hand; He is assigned the III group of disability.
Romanov was arrested. According to the case materials, which was conducted by the investigator of the regional FSB Ilya Kurkin, Romanov wanted to intimidate the city administration so that it stops cutting down city squares.
At the beginning of 2015, another accusation appeared in the case - on the fact of the publication of a private conversation between the activist, widespread as his interview with Libertaire radio, the body of the Ukrainian revolutionary confederation of the anarcho -syndicalists.
The Romanov process began in June 2015. On August 6, the College of the Moscow District Military Court as part of the novel Muranov (presiding), Sergey Krivosheev and Yuri Chepelev at the exit session in Nizhny Novgorod sentenced the activist to 10 years of strict regime with a fine of 110 thousand rubles (
Romanov himself pleaded guilty to articles 222 and 223 of the Criminal Code, but categorically rejected the accusations of preparing for the attack and attempted publication of terrorism.
On December 15, the collegium of the Supreme Court as part of Oleg Derbilov (Judge-Pod folder), Igor Krupnov and Sergey Sokerin reduced Romanov to a term of up to nine years . The judges excluded Romanov from the main prosecution - in preparation for the terrorist attack - two aggravating circumstances: the onset of grave consequences and the use of explosives. The collegium indicated that both of these details are qualifying signs of a terrorist attack, and not aggravating circumstances. The rest of the sentence was left unchanged.
