A fireman feeds an orphaned hummingbird chick

A doctor from the fire department in Sacramento (California) on March 30 found a hummingbird chick that had fallen from the nest. The weakened chick was taken to the fire department, where all employees began to nurse him. The rescuers planned to feed the little bird with water and sugar for the first 48 hours, and then start giving it bugs to eat.
