Three Swedish missionaries were expelled from Buryatia

On March 11, in Buryatia, three missionaries from Sweden were detained while driving a car into a specially protected zone near the town of Kyakhta. On April 5, this was reported by the information and analytical center "Sova".

The missionaries were accused of violating the border regime in the border zone by a foreign citizen (Part 1.1 of Article 18.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation) and fined 500 rubles each. After that, the detainees were immediately forcibly deported due to the expiration of their stay in Russia.
