On April 5, the Kyiv District Court of Simferopol decided to extend the arrest of Emir-Usein Kuku, Bekirov Enver, Aliyev Muslim, Siruk Vadim, accused of terrorism, until June 8. This was reported on Facebook by lawyer Emil Kurbedinov.
The trial was held behind closed doors, the judge explained his decision by "security reasons", none of the listeners could get into the hall. No other reasons were given for holding the closed session. The defense challenged the judge, but the motion was rejected.
On February 11, searches were carried out in the homes of Crimean Tatars in Crimea. On February 12, for four detainees - Emir-Usein Kuku, Enver Bekirov, Muslim Aliyev and Vadim Siruk - the court chose a measure of restraint in the form of arrest.
