
The Ukrainian authorities announced the intention to prohibit the import of Russian oil products, reports Reuters .
“I ask the Ministry of Economics to prepare a mechanism for the ban on the purchase of oil products from the aggressor country, the Russian Federation,” said Arseniy Yatsenyuk Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
The terms of introduction of the ban are not yet called.
In January, Ukraine established a ban on the import of a number of Russian goods. Under the embargo, there were equipment for railways, locomotives, detergents, as well as meat, fish, dairy products, confectionery and other categories of products. This was positioned as response to the ban on the import of a number of Ukrainian goods to Russia.
Later, Yatsenyuk promised that the list of goods whose import from Russia would be increased.
